Governor Newsom, we need your help. After decades of budget shortfalls, California schools are in crisis.

California has the largest K-12 class sizes in the nation.
California schools have 1 million more students than Texas, but 42,000 fewer teachers.
California students receive only half as much in school funding as New York.

Closing the commercial property tax loophole will:

Reclaim $11 billion a year for our schools and local communities without raising taxes on homeowners, renters or small business owners.
Generate over $800 for every K-12 student in California.
Make large corporations pay property taxes at fair market value like they do everywhere else in the country.
